With the possibility of more 3D Mario Switch remasters around the corner, the remake and recreation ouroboros shows no sign of stopping.
Just recently, YouTube user MrComit released a remake of the original Mario Party game in 64's engine, and not too long before that Emanuar himself released a Super Mario 64 remake of the Nintendo GameCube title Super Mario Sunshine. The Mario series, and Super Mario 64 in particular, have some of the largest histories of any game franchise when it comes to hacks, mods, and fan games. It combines some of the mechanics, enemies, and locales from Odyssey while attempting to keep the chunky nostalgia of the first 3D Mario game, and it's available for free right now. Popular modder Kaze Emanuar has released a trailer for the full release of Super Mario Odyssey 64, a recreation of Nintendo Switch darling Super Mario Odyssey in the engine of Super Mario 64.
